Hi, I’m Kathleen Martin, the founder of KM Billing. I started this company with one mission in mind: to make life easier for mental health practitioners by taking the stress out of insurance billing.

With over 20 years of experience in the medical field as a clinical laboratory scientist, I know how crucial accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving are when it comes to patient care and practice management. I also hold a degree in psychology, which has deepened both my understanding of human behavior and my admiration for the vital work mental health professionals do every day.

KM Billing was born from the combination of my analytical skills, love of problem-solving, and genuine passion for supporting those who dedicate their lives to helping others. Nothing makes me happier than seeing my clients’ practices thrive while I work quietly behind the scenes—ensuring claims are processed smoothly, payments are collected efficiently, and any billing challenges are handled with care and persistence.
